Update from Montreal Port Authority – No Operations at Termont and MGT Terminals on July 31. Opening this Weekend

Update on Container Operations at the Port of Montreal

We would like to inform our customers that the Maritime Employer’s Association at the Port of Montreal has received a strike notice, which will be starting on Thursday, July 2nd at 3:00 PM EST and ending on Saturday, July 4th at 6:59 AM EST. This will result in a work stoppage for 2 of the 19 terminals operated by MGTP at the Port of Montreal, during this time.  These pressure tactics exercised by the Longshoremen’s Union, will…
