Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) reached a tentative four-year agreement on Wednesday afternoon, ending a strike that started at 10:00 pm ET on Tuesday.
Details of the agreement will be presented to the TCRC membership for ratification. Ratification votes will take place over the coming months once members can be informed of the contents of the offer, however picket lines will come down immediately.
The union says operations should be back to normal by 6:00 am local time, in every time zone, across the country.
