Port Congestion in China

In addition to recent reports of congestion at Shanghai’s Yangshan Port, major ports in China including Qingdao and Ningbo are now also facing congestion and high yard density issues.

The end of May is now the estimate of when operations will be back to normal. Vessels are reported to experience berthing delays of 2 to 2.5 days. Carriers are advising to factor this into your shipment planning.
