Subject: EU parliament approves trade deal with Canada
The European Parliament in Strasbourg on Feb 15 approved the Canada-EU trade agreement (CETA). The new trade deal is expected to be ratified and in place by April 1 of this year.

Most qualify goods are expected to be duty free upon implementation, with a few notable exceptions like certain road vehicles and water vessels, as well as many food products, which will become duty free over several staging categories.
