| Please be advised that the previously announced December 1, 2016, General Rate Increase (GRI), which is applicable on the Asia & Indian Sub-Continent (ISC) to Canada & USA trade lanes, has been mostly mitigated, with exceptions on select Canada East Coast All-Water Service routings.
Transpacific ocean freight carriers have subsequently announced their intentions to implement the GRI, which is applicable on the Asia & ISC to Canada & USA trade lanes, effective December 15, 2016 at the following levels:
It should also be noted that the carriers have announced their intentions to implement an additional GRI effective January 1, 2017, applicable from Asia & the ISC to all destinations in Canada & the USA at the following levels:

It should be noted that carriers are reminding shippers that vessel capacity is expected to be tight as of mid-December leading up to Chinese New Year on January 28, 2017. We wish to remind all Delmar clientele to advise their suppliers and associates that booking arrangements should be made at least 2 weeks in advance during this peak shipping period.
