Subject: Containership MSC Patricia Delayed in Portugal

The container ship MSC Patricia, with an original ETA of October 13th at the Port of Montreal, is being delayed at the Port of Sines, Portugal.
More than five tons of heavy fuel spilled into the water during bunkering operations.
Currently port authorities and environmental teams are working to contain and collect the spilled oil.
An investigation for the root cause and circumstances surrounding the spill is still under way.
