| Please be advised that the previously announced September 15, 2016, Peak Season Surcharge, applicable on the Asia & Indian Sub-Continent (ISC) to Canada tradelanes, has been postponed by Transpacific ocean freight carriers.
As a reminder, the carriers have announced their intentions to implement a General Rate Increase (GRI) effective October 1, 2016, applicable from Asia & the ISC to all destinations in Canada at the following levels:
Meanwhile the Peak Season Surcharge is now tentatively scheduled to take effect on October 1, 2016, from Asia & the ISC to all destinations in Canada at the following levels:
It should also be noted that certain carriers have indicated their intentions to apply an additional General Rate Increase (GRI) effective October 15 or 16, 2016. Details on this will follow on our next GRI/PSS Update notice.
