Subject: USA Import – Transpacific Ocean Freight Carriers Announce GRI & PSS
Please be advised that ocean freight carrier, servicing trade lanes from Asia & the Indian Sub-Continent to the USA, have announced their intentions to implement a General Rate Increase (GRI) on June 1, 2016, & Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on June 15, 2016, at the below mentioned levels:

General Rate Increase (GRI) effective June 1, 2016
GRI from Asia & the Indian Sub-Continent to all destinations in USA:

  • usd 12.00 per cbm or 500 kg
  • usd 540 per 20′ container
  • usd 600 per 40′ container
  • usd 675 per 40′ HC container
  • usd 760 per 45′ container

Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective June 15, 2016
PSS from Asia & the Indian Sub-Continent to all destinations in USA:

  • usd 8.00 per cbm or 500 kg
  • usd 360 per 20′ container
  • usd 400 per 40′ container
  • usd 450 per 40′ HC container
  • usd 510 per 45′ container
